Kanch Mandir

Kanch Ka Mandir (काँच मंदिर in Hindi), literally Temple of Glass, is a famous Jain temple in Indore, built by legendary Seth Hukumchand Jain. The construction began sometime around 1903.The interior of Kanch Ka Mandir is entirely covered by glass panels and mozaics; including the floor, columns, walls and the ceilings[3]. Seth Hukumchand hired craftsmen from Jaipur and some even from Iran to work on the temple. The ornametations follow the old and medieval Jain style, with the major innovation being the use of multicolored glass and mirrors.











Indore Regal

 This square has a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in it's 

center signifying its presence on M.G. Road. It has got 

its name from Regal Cinema Hall which is situated in 

North West direction of the square. It apparently divides 

old part of Indore to its new part







Khajrana Mandir


Built in the year 1875, during the reign of Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar, Khajrana is famous for housing the largest Ganapati statue in the world. From crown to foot the deity measures eight meters in length. Made up of a weird mix of limestone, jaggery, bricks, mud from the stables of elephants and horses, besides holy soil and water from the major pilgrim places and the deity's image generate a significant impact on the devotee. Deity's frame is made of precious metals, and the deity looks amazingly wonderful.

Rajwada

Rajwada is a historical palace in Indore city. It was built by the Holkars of the MarathaConfederacy about two centuries ago. This seven storied structure is located near the Chhatris and serves today as a fine example of royal grandeur and architectural skills



Indore,Regional Park


Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional park is one of the tourist attraction of Indore. It has a lake along with a beautiful garden with lot of variety of plants and seasonal flowers. In the evening, musical fountain operates which is worth watching.






Indore  Junction


The Indore Junction is an A-1 grade railway station with a revenue of more than Rs. 50 crore(500 million). The City Railway Division comes under Ratlam Division of theWestern Railways. Indore Junction BG is the main and terminal station on the broad gauge line connecting it to the rest of the country. In the Railway budget of 2009 Indore main railway station was listed for upgrade along with other 300 stations across India. Indore is directly connected to the metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Lucknow and Jaipur.







Holkar Cricket Stadium


Holkar Cricket Stadium (Hindiहोलकर क्रिकेट स्टेडियम) is located in IndoreMadhya Pradesh. It was earlier named Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground, but in 2010, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association renamed it after the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas that ruled Indore. It has a seating capacity of around 30,000 spectators. It is also equipped with flood lights for night matches. Virender Sehwag recorded the highest ODI score of 219 at this ground. Gwalior's Roop Singh Stadium is a bit smaller than Indore's Holkar Cricket Stadium.

"Vijay Balla" made out of concrete with names of the players of the Indian team who won the test series against England(1971)and Gary Sobers' West Indies(1972)
